Funny how Easter seems to be all about rabbits, eggs and chocolates in this part of the world. Growing up in Singapore, I always associated the occasion with a slightly uplifting Easter Sunday Mass and shopping afterwards. No other celebration. No chocolates. Maybe coloured eggs, but definitely no chocolates. Over here, grandparents come with bags of it for every grandchild. I’ve got 3 kids. Soooo one month later, I still have a huge bag of chocolates. Anyway, for the occasion, I made some crowd pleasing cupcakes complete with chocolates from a Maître Chocolatier. Chocolate wwwabbit, candy eggs on butter cream grass atop a dense, dark chocolate cake.
